Toys Made in the USA
In light of the recall of nearly 1 million Chinese-produced toys tainted with lead paint , we've compiled a list of toys stating they are "Made in USA".
But then we discovered just because the label "says" American Made, doesn't mean all the components are entirely Made in the USA.
We've found that the statement "Made in America" or "Made in the USA" isn't exactly what you may think it means.

So we went to the Travel /Discovery Channel's website for John Ratzenberger's Made In America. We discovered that although the product is "Made in America", many of the products components are made elsewhere.
Pictionary has a timer made in Taiwan, playing pieces and dice made in the Britain and the rest from America.
Scrabble is labeled American-made, but its racks, tiles and letter bags are from China. That pretty much leaves the board and packaging as a U.S. product.
Crayola's Bath Tub Finger Paints are from China but the Bath Tub Tints - fizzy watercolor tablets - are from the United States.
Indonesian labor produces Swan Lake Barbie and Happy Birthday Barbie. The plastic Volvo that carries around her friends Midge and Alan is from China.
